A Fine Quality Mid-Victorian Eight Light Frosted Glass Chandelier
ENGLAND, circa 1870
A fine quality mid-Victorian eight light frosted glass chandelier – the main baluster shaped shaft with cascading chains. These are surmounted by a drop hung canopy, the main drop hung scalloped edged container with under canopy and lapidary cut finial, the receiver plate supporting eight six sided candle arms – these with star decorated drip pans and candle nozzles. The chandelier is hung with plain Albert drops and eight sided spangles.
