The “fiddle-back” figured mahogany top with narrow ebony banding, the edge with brass-inlaid decoration above a frieze drawer flanked by dummy drawers, the leaves supported by shaped end drawers, the carved scroll end supports incorporating foliate and lobed lunette embellishments, on reeded swept legs terminating with original lion’s head brass cappings and castors.
