The brass candlesticks each with a detachable stem which screws into the base, topped by a straight-sided candle socket with flanges to the upper and lower rims, raised on a turned stem with line decoration and a vase shaped central knop, on a dished circular drip-pan, raised on a bell form base with a (possibly later) engraved wavy-edged cartouche containing 'C' scrolls and the letters 'A. M. G. F. H.'
A pair of similar form can be found in the National Trust Collections at Ightam Mote, Kent (see NT 825377.1/2).
